About Ascot Cattle Co
Cattle are our Passion
We are a customer-focused Angus and Charolais breeding operation that aims to deliver low-risk, thick, polled bulls, bred with an MSA-targeted approach. Our breeding headquarters are located at North Toolburra Station, Warwick QLD, consisting of 400 stud breeders.
We feel strongly that the industry will benefit from bulls that have been bred under our strict standards. These ‘benchmarking’ parameters are designed to produce bulls that will improve the long-term efficiency and profitability of the beef industry. When you buy an Ascot Angus or Charolais bull you can be assured that the very best of both modern and traditional methods have been used. The result is progeny that will calve easily, grow, finish quickly and grade highly.
Approximately 130 bulls are offered at our on-property bull sale, held annually in September. Cattle are our passion and we look forward to hearing how we can work with you. Inspections are welcome at any time by appointment. Send us your details and email address so we can keep you up to date.

Our Pillars
Direction
At Ascot Cattle we have a solid understanding of the beef industry and its need to constantly improve and evolve with modern market demands. Our breeding direction is derived from listening to our clients and the conditions they operate under as well as the requirements expressed from up chain processors. This enables us to breed bulls that are profitable for our clients and suitable for the demands of the modern beef consumer.
Transformation
Our clear breeding direction has allowed us to transform the way we select our Charolais and Angus cattle. We have used leading scientific, genomic and data analysis to develop a polled herd in both breeds that combine class leading fertility, structure and meat quality, helping our clients continue the transformation of their herds to a profitable and sustainable future.
Commitment
Our commitment to breeding bulls for the Australian cattle industry is rooted in a deep understanding of the industry’s significance. We recognise that the Australian cattle industry forms the backbone of the country’s agricultural sector, providing essential sustenance and economic stability. Our dedication to this is reflected in our breeding practices, which prioritise genetic excellence, robustness and temperament in the bulls we sell.
Focus
Whilst we use the very latest breeding technologies, the phenotype is a major part of our breeding program. Our bulls will be quiet, polled, have great skin type and exhibit, weight, softness and easy-doing ability.
At Ascot Cattle Company, the integration of technology is a cornerstone of our business strategy, enhancing both the efficiency and efficacy of our breeding programs. We employ advanced genetic testing and genomic tools to meticulously select and breed Angus and Charolais cattle, ensuring each animal meets our high standards for genetic quality and performance traits. Our use of digital tools extends to meticulous data collection and analysis—tracking weights, health metrics, and reproductive data across life stages to fine-tune our breeding decisions and predict market trends. Additionally, our online platforms and digital marketing strategies allow us to maintain a dynamic presence in the industry, facilitating better communication with clients and providing them with up-to-date information on genetic developments and available stock. This tech-forward approach not only sharpens our competitive edge but also supports our commitment to sustainable and ethical cattle production, ensuring we meet both today’s needs and tomorrow’s challenges.
Ascot Cattle Company is deeply committed to environmental sustainability, recognizing the vital connection between healthy ecosystems and productive agriculture. We practice rotational grazing to improve soil health and grass vitality, significantly reducing erosion and enhancing biodiversity. Our sustainable water management practices and conservation efforts minimize our environmental footprint, supporting the natural habitats on our land. By integrating these eco-friendly practices into every aspect of our operations, Ascot Cattle Company not only ensures the well-being of our cattle but also contributes to the long-term sustainability of the farming landscape in Warwick, Queensland.
