John Howard, and his wife, Ellissa, sold their 12,550-hectare cattle property, St Albans Station, Nebo, Qld, & moved south, along with 700 head of their Brahman herd, to the Darling Downs.
Mr Howard said they wanted to start with the best Angus bloodlines possible, and were advised to pursue the Ascot Angus genetics of Jim and Jackie Wedge’s Warwick-based stud. Temperament was a major factor in Mr Howard’s decision.
