Pointon Pastoral runs 3000 backgrounders & 2500 breeders on his South Burnett & Surat properties.Predominately a Charbray producer in the past,he now runs an Angus herd of 1300 angus breeders on his Surat properties.

Pointon Pastoral purchased its first Angus bulls in 2024, after having been a long-time Charolais client.Mr Pointon said “the Ascot bulls he had purchased from Jim and Jackie over the past 10 years had been exceptional, and when the decision was made to purchase a line of Angus bulls, the logical choice was to firstly go back to Ascot.”
